**Job Title** Agent Developer – Specs Development **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain intelligent AI agents using large language models (LLMs), vector databases, and orchestration frameworks. Lead end‑to‑end lifecycle from specification to production, driving architecture decisions, performance metrics, and continuous improvement in an early‑stage, high‑impact environment. **Expectations** - Deliver scalable, reliable agent pipelines with measurable performance. - Collaborate directly with executive leadership on strategic architecture and product direction. - Operate autonomously in a fast‑moving, ambiguous setting, establishing best practices and internal processes. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect and implement AI agents from scratch, integrating LLMs, vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma), and RAG components. - Apply Spec‑Driven Development to define agent behavior and product specifications. - Build and monitor production‑ready pipelines ensuring high reliability, performance, and usability. - Translate internal user workflows into technical capabilities and agent features. - Define, capture, and analyze metrics (latency, usage, quality scores, feedback) to iterate agent performance. - Own full lifecycle: requirements, design, deployment, observability, and iterative enhancement. - Cultivate and enforce engineering best practices, documentation, and internal tooling. **Required Skills** - 3–7+ years of software engineering, preferably with early‑stage product or infrastructure experience. - Proficiency in Python; experience with agentic frameworks and LLM toolchains (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, PydanticAI, etc.). - Hands‑on design or deployment of production AI agents or RAG systems. - Knowledge of vector database technologies, LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic), and orchestration tools. - Strong architectural understanding, prompt engineering, latency/cost trade‑offs, and observability. - Ability to work independently, think strategically, and thrive in ambiguity. - Builder mindset, eagerness to influence product direction and team culture. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Certifications in AI/ML, cloud platforms, or specific frameworks are a plus.
