**Job title**: Guest Service Agent (m/f/d) – Replacement Contract **Role Summary**: Serve as the first point of contact for guests at a boutique hotel, providing seamless reception, bar and lounge service. Manage check‑in/out, guest inquiries, invoicing, and shift cash, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. **Expectations**: - Deliver warm, professional service that reflects the brand’s “home‑away‑from‑home” ethos. - Maintain impeccable hygiene and uphold cleanliness standards. - Communicate effectively in English (additional languages a plus). - Work collaboratively with the hospitality team, adapting to shift and night schedules. **Key Responsibilities**: - Perform guest check‑in and check‑out, handle reservations and insurance formalities. - Offer guests local information and recommendations. - Serve drinks and light snacks in the lounge, maintaining presentation and service quality. - Answer emails, verify invoices, and manage the shift cash register closure. - Conduct night shifts, ensuring guests receive a courteous farewell. **Required Skills**: - Prior experience in hotel reception or guest service. - Strong customer‑service orientation and attentiveness. - Cleanliness/hygiene awareness. - Good communication skills in English (additional languages valued). - Ability to work flexible hours, including nights. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Minimum high‑school diploma; hospitality or service‑industry qualification preferred.
