Operations Manager – Telecommunications (Fixed & Mobile Networks)
**Role Summary**
Lead and manage the operational, financial, and project planning for fixed (FTTH, HFC) and mobile (BTS, towers, masts) network infrastructures. Own P&L, drive KPI achievement, conduct continuous improvement, and serve as the primary contact for key national and international telecom clients.
**Expectations**
- Deliver operational excellence and profitability for EMEA‑wide network assets.
- Maintain high service quality, network availability, and customer satisfaction.
- Align operational capability with strategic commercial goals and market opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Supervise and coordinate maintenance and operation of fixed and mobile network systems.
2. Act as main client liaison for national and international operators.
3. Analyse technical/operational client needs and design aligned solutions.
4. Prepare, monitor, and report on department budget and end‑to‑end P&L.
5. Ensure KPIs for service quality, availability, efficiency, and satisfaction are met.
6. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and operational process redesign.
7. Oversee fiber‑optic deployments, mobile network rollouts, and turnkey infrastructure projects (design, civil works, installation).
8. Contribute to commercial strategy definition and execution.
9. Provide regular status & financial reporting to EMEA Management.
**Required Skills**
- Leadership & strategic decision‑making.
- Advanced knowledge of FTTH, HFC, BTS, tower & mast operations.
- Expertise with Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia equipment.
- Proven P&L management (revenue, cost, provisions, invoicing, collections, margins).
- Turnkey project experience (design, civil, deployment, installation).
- Strong client management & communication (English).
- Results‑oriented, organized, ability to thrive in high‑pressure environments.
- Proactive, hands‑on, dynamic leadership style.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 6 years of operational leadership in telecom.
- Eligible certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM (highly desirable).
