Job Description
**Job Title:** QSE Engineer (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) **Role Summary:** Dynamic QSE Engineer responsible for managing the quality management system and overseeing health, safety, and environment (HSE) compliance in a very small enterprise. Acts as a cross‑functional partner, driving continuous improvement, supporting project teams, and ensuring regulatory conformity with high autonomy. **Expectations:** - Work independently in a fast‑changing, multi‑task environment. - Take initiative to develop and refine processes. - Communicate effectively with project leaders and operational staff. - Deliver timely, accurate documentation and reporting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Facilitate internal quality processes; keep indicators and documentation up‑to‑date with process owners. - Support project teams to ensure adherence to quality requirements; prepare and monitor quality plans. - Implement product‑stage tracking and continuous‑improvement activities linked to the quality system; analyse feedback and propose optimisations. - Monitor HSE regulatory changes; implement actions to maintain compliance. - Conduct occupational risk assessments, update the single safety document, and propose preventive/corrective measures. - Manage accident/incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. - Prepare for and participate in QSE audits; draft audit reports and track corrective actions. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (or equivalent) standards. - Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and audit management. - Ability to develop and monitor KPIs and quality documentation. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and continuous‑improvement mindset. - High level of autonomy, multitasking ability, and proactive communication. - Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality/HSE software tools. - Fluent in French (working language) and proficient in English (written and spoken). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Quality Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. - Relevant certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or OHSAS/ISO 14001 Lead Auditor are preferred.
