Job Description

**Job Title**: Junior Software Engineer – AI Services **Role Summary** Collaborate with a small engineering team to design, build, and maintain back‑end services and front‑end interfaces that deliver generative AI capabilities for API design, testing, and observability products. Work on full‑stack stack using TypeScript/JavaScript, REST, PostgreSQL, AWS, and container orchestration, with a strong focus on high‑quality code and user experience. **Expectations** - Onboard quickly and ship production code from Day 1. - Convert ambiguous requirements into functional, maintainable solutions. - Review and contribute to code across the full stack. - Own post‑production support and iterate on designs based on metrics and user feedback. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain RESTful back‑end services exposing generative AI features. - Implement front‑end components with TS/JS, HTML/CSS, ensuring a seamless UX. - Validate new AI use‑cases through rapid prototyping and feasibility testing. - Peer‑review code and uphold engineering standards within a growing team. - Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security. **Required Skills** - 1+ years of production software development experience. - Strong grasp of HTTP, REST, and client/server architecture. - Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs, SQL (PostgreSQL). - Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS). - Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. - Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a small team. **Required Education & Certifications** - BS/BA or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or comparable experience).
