Job Description
**Job Title** Health & Safety Prevention Consultant **Role Summary** Provide expert guidance on occupational health and safety to public and private clients nationwide. Design and implement long‑term prevention strategies, conduct audits and risk analyses, and deliver tailored training to reduce work‑related incidents. **Expectations** - Assess client health and safety needs and develop 3‑year prevention roadmaps. - Advise executive committees (COMEX/CODIR) on integrated safety strategies. - Conduct audits, diagnoses, and accident investigations using methods such as cause‑tree analysis. - Draft regulatory documents (e.g., DUERP) and prepare intervention reports. - Facilitate training programmes and promote continuous improvement. - Build and maintain client relationships, including prospecting new accounts and upselling services. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Identify occupational health and safety requirements of clients. 2. Design and implement strategies to reduce workplace accidents. 3. Present prevention plans to client senior management. 4. Train staff on health, safety, and risk management topics. 5. Perform audits and diagnostic assessments (security culture, ISO compliance). 6. Analyze incidents with the "root cause analysis" tree method. 7. Draft and update regulatory documents (e.g., DUERP). 8. Compile and deliver intervention reports. 9. Organize risk prevention activities within client organizations. 10. Recommend and lead improvement actions. 11. Create customized training materials. 12. Prospect new clients and retain existing ones, with sales incentives. **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and ISO standards. - Proficiency in risk assessment, audit techniques, and accident investigation. - Strong analytical and presentation abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication in French; English preferred. - Ability to travel nationally and work independently. - Customer‑orientated, with proven account‑management and sales skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or related field. - Professional certifications (e.g., ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, CAES, or equivalent safety management credentials) preferred. - Ongoing professional development in health and safety topics.
