Job Description
**Job Title** Commercial Development Engineer – Special Machines (H/F) **Role Summary** Drive national and international sales of specialized machinery by prospecting new markets, expanding existing accounts, and closing contracts. Acts as the technical and commercial liaison from initial contact to post‑delivery support, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth. **Expectations** - Autonomous, highly adaptable, and effective communicator with strong technical acumen. - Comfortable with frequent international travel and bilingual in French and English; additional languages valued. **Key Responsibilities** - Define target markets and develop prospecting strategies; gather and maintain market intelligence. - Initiate and conduct technical and commercial meetings, send product documentation, and lead negotiations. - Design and execute communication plans, including product briefings and trade show participation. - Identify and engage new stakeholders within existing clients; maintain regular follow‑ups on needs and solutions. - Analyze customer specifications and prepare feasibility studies; draft proposals and quotations in collaboration with sales administration. - Respond to tenders, present offers, negotiate terms, and secure signed contracts. - Coordinate post‑order activities: logistics, installation, and customer service to ensure contract compliance. - Resolve disputes, manage complaints, and interface with clients to uphold service levels. - Monitor after‑sales performance, collect customer feedback, and support debt recovery. **Required Skills** - 5+ years’ experience selling industrial equipment, preferably on complex specifications. - Strong analytical and technical writing abilities; binary or dot‑matrix knowledge sufficiency. - Proficiency in French and English; additional languages an asset. - Excellent negotiation, relationship‑building, and presentation skills. - Ability to travel internationally and manage a dynamic sales pipeline. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related). - Commercial or sales training (preferred). - Valid professional licenses or certifications in industrial sales (if applicable).
