Job Title: JAVA Developer
Role Summary:
Senior Java engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining J2EE web applications and client/server modules. Works through the full development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and analysis to coding, testing, and documentation—enhancing intranet systems and ensuring high‑quality, performant solutions.
Expactations:
- Deliver clean, efficient code on tight deadlines.
- Communicate effectively in English (Korean bilingual a plus).
- Self‑motivate, adapt quickly to changing business requirements, and collaborate within a team or independently.
- Produce clear technical documentation and design artifacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain J2EE web applications and Java client/server components.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and detailed design documents.
- Implement server‑side logic using Spring, iBatis/Hibernate/JPA, JDBC, and JSP/Servlet technologies.
- Build RESTful web services and JMS components, integrating with Oracle databases.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests; debug, performance‑tune, and document code.
- Collaborate with front‑end teams on HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON interfaces.
- Support data analytics workflows and create dashboards with Tableau or Power BI where applicable.
- Resolve defects, troubleshoot legacy code, and implement enhancements.
Required Skills:
- 5–10+ years of Java/J2EE development experience, preferably for intranet systems.
- Proficiency with Spring, Hibernate/JPA, iBatis, JDBC, JSP/Servlet.
- Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP), JMS, and integrating heterogeneous services.
- Front‑end expertise: HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AJAX, JavaScript, JSON.
- Oracle database skills, including SQL and PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with data‑visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and documentation abilities.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Korean bilingual preferred.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (BS/BA or higher) preferred.
