Job Description
Job title: Junior Software Engineer Role Summary: Early‑career engineer who designs, develops, and deploys AI‑driven web applications. Works on both front‑end and back‑end components, integrates third‑party APIs, and contributes to AI features and internal tools. Operates in an agile environment, shipping code on a weekly basis to improve eCommerce conversion experiences. Expectations: - 0–3 years of professional software development. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Proficient in JavaScript, Python, or equivalent modern language. - Familiarity with React, Next.js, or Node.js. - Strong understanding of REST APIs and data structures. - Demonstrated problem‑solving, curiosity, and initiative. - Interest in AI, analytics, and eCommerce technology. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain front‑end (React, Next.js) and back‑end (Node.js, Python) web applications. - Integrate with external services via APIs (Shopify, GA4, HubSpot, AWS, etc.). - Develop new AI‑powered product features and internal tools. - Implement A/B tests, conduct QA, and track performance metrics. - Collaborate in a small, agile team; ship code on a weekly cadence. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous delivery workflows.
