Job title: Major Gifts and Partnerships Lead Role Summary: Senior fundraising specialist responsible for securing multi‑year six‑ and seven‑figure corporate and philanthropic partnerships that drive transformational income growth. Works independently on the entire fundraising cycle—prospect identification, cultivation, proposal development, and commitment acquisition—without line‑management duties. Expectations: - Deliver significant revenue increases for both corporate and philanthropic streams (60 % corporate, 40 % philanthropic focus). - Build and maintain a robust multi‑year pipeline that aligns with the organization’s strategic priorities. - Demonstrate measurable success in closing high‑value commitments within a fixed‑term engagement. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify, engage and secure new major corporate and philanthropic partners. 2. Lead the development and management of multi‑year pipelines across both fundraising streams. 3. Use prospecting tools to uncover and prioritize high‑impact opportunities. 4. Craft compelling, mission‑aligned proposals that drive investor commitment. 5. Collaborate closely with Corporate Lead, High Value Relationships Lead and broader fundraising team. 6. Maximise Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) for reporting, forecasting and pipeline analysis. 7. Maintain high‑level visibility with prospects, supporters and internal stakeholders. Required Skills: - Proven track record of securing six‑ or seven‑figure corporate or philanthropic income. - Deep understanding of the UK corporate and philanthropy landscape. - Excellent communication, influencing, stewardship and negotiation skills. - Experience building multi‑year pipelines and cross‑organisational proposals. - Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce). - Commitment to inclusion and adherence to fundraising best practices. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, communications, nonprofit management or related field. - Professional fundraising certification (e.g., CIPFA, IFRC, RFP) preferred but not mandatory.
