Job Description
Job title: Data & Integration Engineer Role Summary: Develop, architect, and maintain data pipelines that ingest, transform, and surface information from APIs, ERPs, CRMs, and data warehouses into production-ready formats. Own end‑to‑end data flow and collaborate with analytics, ML, and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and low‑error data solutions for the home‑building industry. Expectations: Learn rapidly in a fast‑paced environment; take ownership of data integrity and pipeline performance; communicate findings and resolve anomalies with stakeholders; contribute to both pre‑ and post‑commercial product releases. Key Responsibilities: - Investigate new data sources and design integrations for new clients. - Build and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python. - Expand and optimize integration capabilities with existing ERP, CRM, and cloud data warehouse systems. - Architect reusable integration patterns to accelerate onboarding and reduce errors. - Migrate and tune existing client pipelines, adjusting machine‑learning parameters as needed. - Optimize ML models with fresh data, ensuring robust performance. - Detect, document, and correct data anomalies in collaboration with engagement and solution engineering teams. Required Skills: - Proficient Python programming (experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow an asset). - Strong SQL knowledge and analytic function usage. - Familiarity with data lakes, warehouses, and legacy ERP databases. - Understanding of statistical distributions, histogram analysis, and feature intuition. - Experience with Git for collaborative coding. - Ability to prototype quickly in Jupyter or similar notebooks. - Interest or experience in ML pipelines and quantitative AI model training/tuning. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience (no minimum work experience required).
