**Job Title:**
Data Team Lead / Tech Lead – Data Engineering
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, development, and industrialization of robust, scalable data solutions. Ensure technical coherence, delivery quality, and team skill growth while aligning with enterprise‑grade standards.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 3 + years of hands‑on data engineering experience, including significant technical leadership.
- Proven ability to define and enforce data architecture, quality, and security standards.
- Strong mentorship and team‑building capabilities in an agile environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define end‑to‑end data architecture (ingestion, processing, storage, exposure).
- Lead and mentor Data Engineers, reviewing code and guiding technical decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain reliable, high‑performance data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality, traceability, and security across all assets.
- Implement and enforce best practices (testing, CI/CD, documentation).
- Evaluate and adopt appropriate technologies, driving continuous improvement.
- Conduct technology watch and promote innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with product, IT, and business stakeholders to meet requirements.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and foster a collaborative team dynamic.
**Required Skills:**
- Expert-level Data Engineering (ETL/ELT, streaming, batch processing).
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, etc.).
- Solid understanding of data quality, governance, and security principles.
- Hands‑on with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and documentation practices.
- Agile methodology experience (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent communication, coaching, and technical leadership skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (BAC+5 equivalent).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data Engineer, Azure Data Engineer) are a plus but not mandatory.
