**Job Title**: Java Fullstack Developer
**Role Summary**:
Senior developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high‑performance microservices and front‑end applications in the financial services domain. Works closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and test‑driven solutions using Java, Spring Framework, and modern JavaScript technologies.
**Expectations**:
- 8+ years of end‑to‑end software development experience, preferably in finance.
- Full‑time, long‑term contract (W2).
- Ability to demonstrate deep expertise in both back‑end and front‑end stack, and to contribute to architecture, coding, unit testing, and documentation.
- Proven track record of delivering high‑throughput, resilient systems in an Agile environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and implement Java microservices with Spring Boot, exposing RESTful APIs.
- Develop front‑end components using Angular (v11+) or React, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.
- Create and optimize SQL queries for relational (Oracle, DB2) and NoSQL (MongoDB, HBase) databases.
- Build and deploy containerised services with Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes.
- Integrate messaging systems (ActiveMQ, IBM MQ, Kafka) for event‑driven workloads.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Jenkins, Git, and maintain automated test suites (JUnit, Selenium, Mockito, Cucumber).
- Document architecture, API contracts, coding standards, and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices on performance, scalability, and security.
**Required Skills**:

- Front‑end: Core JavaScript, Angular, React, CSS, HTML, Node.js, JSON.
- Databases: SQL proficiency; Oracle, DB2, MongoDB, HBase, Snowflake.
- Microservices architecture, containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes).
- DevOps: CI/CD, Git, Maven, Jenkins.
- Messaging: ActiveMQ, IBM MQ, Kafka.
- Big‑data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Snowflake.
- Testing frameworks: JUnit, Selenium, Mockito, Cucumber.
- Design patterns, concurrency, multi‑core/multi‑node solutions, event‑based processing.
- Agile practices, SDLC, documentation.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications relevant to Java/Spring, Kubernetes, or DevOps (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, CNCF certs) preferred but not mandatory.
