**Job Title**: Software Engineer **Role Summary**: Design, develop, test, and maintain high‑performance Java applications for a tech client, working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver new features and optimize existing code. **Expectations**: - 2‑5 years of professional Java development experience. - Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks. - Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or MongoDB. - Ability to build and troubleshoot multi‑threaded applications. - Direct, full‑time candidate only; third‑party or C2C applicants not accepted. **Key Responsibilities**: - Write clean, efficient, and reusable Java code. - Develop, test, and maintain applications using JUnit and automated testing frameworks. - Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Debug and optimize application performance. - Enforce coding standards and best practices for software quality. **Required Skills**: - Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or similar. - Database skills: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. - Multi‑threading/concurrency programming. - Unit testing, integration testing, automation scripts. - Problem‑solving, debugging, and performance tuning. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
