**Job Title**: Director, Infrastructure & Cloud – Software Publisher (open to all genders)
**Role Summary**
Lead the end‑to‑end strategy, governance, and operation of the company’s on‑premise and cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP). Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of platforms supporting software solutions. Drive modernisation, automation, and zero‑trust principles while managing budgets, contracts, and cross‑functional engineering teams.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 15 years in IT, including senior leadership in infrastructure/cloud domains.
- Proven track record of managing complex, highly available systems and leading cloud transformation projects.
- Strategic vision coupled with hands‑on operational focus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in professional English (written & spoken).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define, evolve, and execute the Infrastructure & Cloud strategy, aligning architecture with product roadmaps.
- Oversee modernisation projects: cloud migration, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), automation, and zero‑trust architecture.
- Govern production, staging, and development environments; maintain SLA/SLO/SLI targets, active monitoring, and incident management.
- Implement ITIL, SRE, and DevSecOps processes; lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage security posture and compliance (ISO 27001, RGPD); develop and maintain BCP/DR plans.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of systems, cloud, networking, and SRE engineers; optimize workflows and foster an excellence culture.
- Negotiate with cloud providers, integrators, and vendors; monitor SLA performance and financial terms; control budgets and CAPEX/OPEX.
**Required Skills**
- Strategy & architecture: on‑premise & cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking, storage, load balancing, high‑availability design.
- Modernisation: virtualization, containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
- Operations: ITIL, SRE best practices, monitoring, alerting, incident response, capacity planning.
- Security & compliance: ISO 27001, GDPR, risk assessment, vulnerability management, zero‑trust principles.
- Finance & procurement: budgeting, cost optimisation, contract negotiation.
- Leadership & communication: team management, cross‑functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Advanced degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications (preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, ITIL Foundation, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, SRE/DevOps certifications.
