**Role Summary:**
A foundational business operations position focused on designing and scaling internal processes, finance, sales, and product execution for an emerging institutional software company. The role requires translating institutional investor needs into operational workflows and driving go‑to‑market strategies.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Partner with founders to establish operations across product, sales, finance, and client services.
- Convert institutional investor requirements into actionable internal priorities, processes, and execution plans.
- Support pricing, packaging, sales enablement, onboarding, and renewal workflows.
- Coordinate with product, engineering, and data science teams to maintain tight feedback loops.
- Analyze revenue, pipeline, usage, retention, and unit economics to generate actionable insights.
- Own and refine processes for contracts, billing, reporting, and client operations.
- Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to guide product strategy and positioning.
- Lead early hiring, tool selection, and cadence establishment as the company scales.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced analytical and Excel proficiency; comfort with incomplete or messy data.
- Deep understanding of institutional finance and investment workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication with senior executives.
- Self‑starter mindset, adept at wearing multiple hats, and thriving in ambiguity.

- Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, Python, R, or similar data tools is advantageous.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s from a top‑ranked university in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (minimum GPA 3.7).
- CFA, FRM, or MBA strongly preferred.
- Dual‑major experience in a liberal arts discipline and a technical field is a plus.
