Job Description

Job Title: Inside Sales Intern Role Summary: Assist the Inside Sales Team in managing sales pipelines, qualifying leads, and supporting customer engagement to drive revenue growth in the pipeline industry. Expectations: - Work a full 40‑hour week during summer term. - Collaborate with Inside and Field Sales teams. - Deliver data‑driven insights and research for strategic initiatives. - Develop sales materials and support outreach activities. Key Responsibilities: - Support opportunity management and lead qualification. - Track and analyze regional pipeline using CRM (Salesforce). - Conduct fact‑finding research on key construction projects. - Identify bottlenecks, trends, and forecasting insights. - Prepare sales presentations, project overviews, and research summaries. - Participate in weekly team and department meetings. - Contribute to customer outreach and lead qualification initiatives. - Perform additional tasks to support sales operations. Required Skills: - Strong research and analytical capabilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Ability to interpret data and extract key insights. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Consultative selling mindset with customer focus. - Strong organization and time‑management for multitasking. - Ability to work independently and in a team. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in a Business, Sales, Marketing, or related program. - Undergraduate students with at least one full year of coursework, or graduate students. - Coursework or experience in sales, market research, or business analytics is a plus.
