Job Description

**Job Title** Business Analyst & Power BI Developer **Role Summary** A hybrid role combining business analysis and Power BI development. The professional gathers and documents stakeholder requirements, designs data models, and builds, deploys, and maintains interactive dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for insurance and agency operations. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, secure, and high‑quality BI solutions on set timelines. - Communicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Continue learning new tools, platforms, and industry best practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Collaborate with business users to elicit and document analytics and reporting requirements. - Translate requirements into functional specifications, data models, and visual design concepts. - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data pipelines. - Create and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and Power Query transformations. - Implement and manage Row‑Level Security, data accuracy, consistency, and governance. - Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights. - Support integration with existing systems such as EZLynx, Monday.com, QCommission, portals, and community platforms. - Manage multiple priority projects independently. **Required Skills** - 2+ years in business analysis and BI development. - Proficient with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. - Deep knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling. - Strong SQL skills and relational database experience. - Excellent stakeholder communication and stakeholder management. - Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field. - Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification (PL‑300) preferred. ---
