**Job Title**
Project Manager – Software New Product Development (NPD)
**Role Summary**
Lead the end‑to‑end development of new software products or processes, from concept to market launch, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, and quality requirements. Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage regulatory documentation, and oversee post‑launch maintenance.
**Expectations**
- Deliver projects within defined cost, time, and quality parameters.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001/13485 quality systems and EU data protection regulations.
- Facilitate the transfer of knowledge to series‑life teams and support product launch.
- Drive continuous improvement through technological innovation and best‑practice adoption.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics (V‑cycle & Agile methodologies).
- Coordinate internal departments (R&D, QA, Production, Marketing) and external partners on product development activities.
- Prepare comprehensive project dossiers and support regulatory submissions.
- Manage software configuration, release, and deployment for hardware‑centric product lines.
- Oversee post‑launch support, updates, and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct technology and industry watch, identify emerging solutions, and propose innovations.
- Build and maintain a network of technical partners and suppliers.
- Provide occasional travel to support implementation and monitoring across multiple sites.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years project management experience in software development.
- Proven capability in managing integrated projects: technical development, business, quality/production, and cross‑functional communication.
- Knowledge of database management, cybersecurity, and GDPR compliance.
- Expertise in software configuration management for hardware‑produced products.
- Experience with embedded software distribution (IoT, SaaS, cloud) and cross‑platform releases.
- Strong planning, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Comfort with travel to France, Europe, and internationally.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) with a focus on software/IT development.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) are preferred.
