Job Description
**Job title** National Account Manager **Role Summary** Own sell‑in and sell‑out performance across key national retailers for a portfolio of beauty brands. Drive growth through strategic planning, accurate forecasting, ROI‑led budgeting, contract negotiations, and compelling product activation and visibility. Deliver flawless merchandising, online presence, and executive reporting while cultivating strong relationships with senior leaders across buying, merchandising, and marketing teams. **Expactations** * Attain or exceed YoY sales and margin targets for each brand. * Maintain high ROI on retailer investment budgets. * Provide accurate, data‑driven forecasts and actionable insights to senior management. * Build and sustain partnership relationships that enhance brand equity and market share. * Manage multiple brands and retailers simultaneously in a fast‑moving environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and execute year‑over‑year sales plans by brand and retailer. * Forecast sell‑in, plan replenishment and coordinate NPD & seasonal launches. * Lead budget management, ROI analysis, and spending optimisation on retailer investments. * Negotiate contracts, payment terms and business partnership agreements (JBPs). * Plan and deliver product activation, visual merchandising, shelf placement and OSA. * Produce concise, confidence‑driven brand and retailer performance reports. * Keep abreast of category trends, competitor activity and in‑store execution. * Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, finance and brand teams. **Required Skills** * Proven experience in beauty or cosmetics sales, preferably with prestige or pure‑player retailers in the UK. * Strong negotiation and commercial acumen. * Highly numerate, detail‑obsessed and comfortable interpreting sales data. * Excellent organisational ability to juggle multiple brands and accounts. * Proactive, resilient and thrives in a change‑driven, high‑pacing environment. * Team‑focused with a problem‑solving mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail, or a related field. * Relevant sales or account‑management certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
