Job Description
**Job Title** Franchise Development Intern (Chargé Développement Franchise – Stage) **Role Summary** Support the expansion of Mail Boxes Etc. across the Grand Est region and the departments of Seine‑et‑Marne (77) and Val‑de‑Marne (94). Work closely with the headquarters development team to manage franchise leads, execute targeted marketing actions, and build relationships with local economic actors. The internship provides a 360° view of franchise development with a strong commercial focus and includes travel to priority cities in the assigned territory. **Expectations** - Manage the full lifecycle of inbound franchise leads, from initial contact to signed agreement. - Deliver proactive, data‑driven marketing initiatives to generate new prospects. - Establish and maintain contacts with Chambers of Commerce, industry clusters, and other local stakeholders. - Demonstrate strong commercial intuition, project‑management rigor, and the ability to propose actionable improvements. - Maintain regular travel within the assigned region and attend training sessions in Paris and Dijon. **Key Responsibilities** - Qualify and nurture franchise leads, maintain CRM records, and ensure timely follow‑up. - Coordinate and execute regional marketing campaigns (digital, event‑based, co‑branding). - Conduct outreach to CCI and local business networks to raise brand awareness and identify opportunities. - Prepare and present reports on lead conversion, market feedback, and territory performance to the development team. - Support the drafting and negotiation of franchise agreements under supervision. - Participate in internal training on franchise concepts and operational standards. **Required Skills** - Strong interpersonal and sales skills; ability to build rapport quickly. - Project‑management discipline and attention to detail. - Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the capacity to propose initiatives. - Mobility and willingness to travel frequently within the region. - Proficient in English (written and spoken). - Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Familiarity with design tools such as Canva is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in a Master’s program (M2) specializing in franchising, business development, or a comparable Business School track. - Final‑year student status (eligible for a full‑time end‑of‑studies internship). - No specific certifications required; academic focus on franchising or commercial management preferred.
