Job Description: Job title: Network Security Engineer – Data Center Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain secure data‑center and branch‑office network infrastructures. Drive segmentation, SD‑WAN management, and continuous improvement of security posture across a multi‑site operation. Expactations: * Deliver robust, scalable network and security solutions that support business continuity and digital transformation. * Serve as the primary incident responder for all data‑center and branch‑office network/security events. * Lead architecture reviews and propose modernization initiatives aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities: * Architect and enforce VXLAN segmentation for data‑center traffic. * Deploy and manage SD‑WAN (Palo Alto) to connect remote sites. * Configure, tune, and monitor security appliances (Firewalls, IPS, WAF, Load Balancers, Proxies) at the data‑center and on ~150 branch sites. * Conduct incident investigation, root cause analysis, and resolve service requests within defined SLAs. * Produce and maintain documentation for network and security designs, configurations, and processes. * Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security controls into upcoming projects. * Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on security best practices. Required Skills: * Proven expertise in designing and operating Cisco VXLAN, AWS VPC networking, and SD‑WAN technologies. * Deep knowledge of Palo Alto, Check Point, and F5 WAF architecture and administration. * Strong troubleshooting skills across network, firewall, and application layers. * Experience managing multi‑site networks and coordinating with community teams. * Ability to translate business requirements into secure, high‑availability network designs. * Excellent communication and documentation abilities. * Commitment to a service‑oriented mindset and collaborative working style. Required Education & Certifications: * Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field focused on networking or cybersecurity. * Professional certifications: Cisco CCNP/CCIE (Network), Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCA, and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Preferred. ---
