Job title: Platform Architect
Role Summary:
Lead the design, governance, and optimization of ServiceNow platforms, with a core focus on CMDB data architecture, CSDM alignment, and ITOM Discovery. Drive architectural decisions, set standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure scalable, reliable, and compliant service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, govern, and continuously improve the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, normalization, and lifecycle management.
- Lead CSDM adoption, mapping services and infrastructure to appropriate domains and stages.
- Design and optimize ITOM Discovery (patterns, probes, credentials, schedules, MID Server strategy).
- Establish CMDB governance, data quality KPIs, dashboards, and operational processes.
- Lead design and implementation of core ServiceNow modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Asset Management, Discovery & CMDB, Self‑Service Portal, and integrations with SCCM and other IT tools.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable ServiceNow solutions and enforce architectural standards.
- Architect integrations using APIs, MID Servers, IntegrationHub, LDAP, SSO, and web services.
- Build automation and orchestration workflows to streamline IT operations.
- Oversee platform health, performance, upgrades, lifecycle management, and licensing.
- Conduct system and integration testing, support data migration, portal development, and catalog item design.
- Collaborate with IT leadership, support teams, and business units to define requirements, roadmap priorities, and communicate progress and risks.
Required Skills:
- Expert knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, ITOM Discovery, ITSM, and ITAM processes.
- Advanced scripting in Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Pages, UI Macros, and similar.
- Experience designing and implementing large‑scale ServiceNow deployments (5,000+ users).
- Strong architectural design, standards, and governance capabilities.
- Integration design using APIs, MID Servers, IntegrationHub, LDAP, SSO.
- Automation and orchestration development skills.
- Familiarity with UI/UX concepts, portal design, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow experience in large‑scale environments.
- ServiceNow Architect or Developer certification mandatory.
