Job Title: Senior Data Expert (Spontaneous Application)
Role Summary:
Lead data initiatives across engineering, analytics, BI, and AI/ML domains. Design, implement, and optimize end‑to‑end data pipelines, analytical models, and dashboards that align with business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Expactations:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in at least one data discipline (Data Engineering, Data Analytics, BI Engineering, AI/ML).
- Demonstrated expertise with modern data technologies (ETL, SQL/NoSQL, cloud platforms, visualization tools, ML frameworks).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to map business problems to technical architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and native fluency in Dutch or French.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and data warehouses.
- Build and refine analytical models, machine learning pipelines, and BI reports/dashboards.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data assets.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Mentor junior data staff and contribute to best‑practice knowledge sharing.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and NoSQL data querying.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Talend).
- Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data services (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Familiarity with BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Knowledge of ML frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model deployment.
- Strong problem‑solving, data modeling, and performance tuning abilities.
- Bilingual in English and native Dutch or French.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) preferred.
