About the Company

RJC is an independent Russian company with a team of young and energetic professionals. The company kicked off in early 2000s with promotion of the foreign mining software and was able to gain a reliable reputation while working with the leading mining companies in Russia. RJC completed several projects resulted in TEO of mining conditions and reserve evaluation, resource estimation, carried out mathematical modeling of deposits, economic assessment, and other works for more than 100 mineral deposits of various types.

Company headquarters is located in St. Petersburg, Russia, with two subsidiary offices in Irkutsk to cover Siberia region, and in Karaganda to maintain our projects in Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.

Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Assistant – 6‑Month Contract (Outside IR35) Role Summary: Support day‑to‑day accounting functions in an energy trading environment while the company implements a new trading system. Work primarily in Bristol with initial training in Bridgewater. Expectations: Deliver accurate invoicing and accounts‑payable processing, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to new systems. Operate independently and maintain high standards of data integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and record them in the accounting system. - Manage accounts‑payable ledger, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation. - Prepare supporting documentation for audit and reporting purposes. - Coordinate with the trading and finance teams during the new system rollout. - Participate in initial training sessions in Bridgewater and apply lessons to daily tasks. Required Skills: - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. - Excellent communication and organisational skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. - Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) considered an asset.
