Job title: Artificial Intelligence Intern
Role Summary: 10‑week paid internship focused on designing, implementing, and supporting AI solutions, primarily using Microsoft Copilot, to enhance business processes and employee adoption.
Expectations: Execute projects from day one, produce high‑quality deliverables (reports, training content, dashboards), maintain AI policies, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to measure impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and launch Copilot pilots and AI bots with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Create prompts, templates, and training material (slides, job aids, videos).
- Build and update an adoption dashboard tracking training, usage, and helpdesk trends.
- Conduct change management activities: communication plans, training timelines, FAQs.
- Partner with business units to identify AI opportunities, map processes, and capture before/after metrics.
- Ensure compliance with AI policy, privacy, and data handling standards (GLBA, etc.).
- Provide first‑line AI support, resolve issues, and document solution knowledge.
- Research safe guidelines for non‑Microsoft AI tools when needed.
Required Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Hands‑on experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, and Microsoft Copilot within M365.
- Basic knowledge of data privacy and security in financial or regulated environments.
- Project management skills: multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset; works across departments and incorporates feedback.
- Interest in change management and instructional design.
- Bonus: familiarity with automation tools (Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, scripting).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program (any discipline).
- Prior internship, volunteer work, campus involvement, or portfolio of AI‑enabled projects is advantageous but not mandatory.
