Job Description
Job Title: Retail Marketing Manager Role Summary: Translate brand strategy into omnichannel retail programs, driving execution across in‑store, digital and wholesale channels. Serve as the liaison between brand, sales, creative, and retail partners, delivering compelling presentations and data‑driven insights to secure placement, funding, and promotional success. Expectations: - Champion retail needs in brand planning. - Lead end‑to‑end retail activation for key accounts (Costco, Target, Walmart, Amazon brick‑and‑mortar, specialty retailers). - Deliver high‑impact decks to senior executives and retail buyers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Convert brand campaigns and creative direction into retail‑ready marketing plans, ensuring consistent messaging, design, and voice. 2. Align launches, promotions, and merchandising with overall brand narrative in collaboration with Brand Marketing, Creative, and Sales. 3. Develop and execute retail marketing programs (end caps, signage, sampling, seasonal promotions, co‑branded activations). 4. Manage creative briefing, production, and quality control of all retail collateral. 5. Partner with eCommerce and Digital teams to create a seamless omnichannel consumer experience. 6. Lead creation and delivery of presentations for buyer meetings, joint business plans, and line reviews. 7. Track retail campaign performance using POS, Nielsen/IRI, and retailer portals; provide actionable ROI and shopper insights. 8. Serve as primary marketing liaison for key accounts, fostering relationships with retail partners and internal stakeholders. 9. Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain to align inventory, timing, and marketing schedules. 10. Mentor junior staff and manage agency partners. Required Skills: - Trade marketing, promotional planning, and retail activation expertise. - Mastery of presentation tools (Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides) with strong storytelling and design sense. - Relationship building and negotiation skills with major retailers. - Proficiency in retail analytics tools (Nielsen, IRI, retailer POS systems). - Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). - 7–10 years of retail or channel marketing experience within CPG, health & wellness, or supplements. - Proven record of translating brand strategy into measurable sales results. - Demonstrated success presenting to senior executives and retail buyers.
