CONTRACT Data Privacy Analyst
Job Description
Job title: CONTRACT Data Privacy Analyst Role Summary: Contractual data privacy analyst providing expertise in marketing and consumer privacy. Responsible for drafting privacy notices, managing consent and cookie practices, supporting Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), and translating privacy legislation into clear, business‑friendly guidance. Expactations: - 6–7 month contract, 4 days per week onsite. - Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple stakeholder priorities. - Apply multi‑jurisdiction privacy knowledge to business processes. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret and apply data protection and privacy law to marketing activities. - Draft, update, and maintain privacy notices and consent mechanisms. - Manage consent/cookie policies and DSAR processes. - Conduct and support privacy risk assessments (DPIA, ROPA, etc.) and review data use cases. - Translate legal requirements into actionable recommendations for the business. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate privacy into marketing initiatives. - Maintain privacy intake workflows and operate privacy management tools such as OneTrust. Required Skills: - Strong grasp of global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, etc.). - Experience with marketing‑related privacy requirements and consumer‑facing privacy. - Proven ability to conduct DPIAs/ROPAs and review data use cases. - Multi‑jurisdictional privacy expertise and understanding of how different laws impact business. - Strategic thinking, independent work, and solid stakeholder communication. - Proficiency with privacy program tools (e.g., OneTrust). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, Privacy Management, or related field. - Relevant privacy certification (CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent) preferred.
