Job Title: Business Strategy Advisor
Role Summary:
Provide strategic advisory services to member pig‑herd operators, driving economic performance, financial health, and sustainable growth. Lead a small advisory team, develop service strategies, and collaborate with accounting and field staff to secure cooperative commitments.
Expectations:
- Deliver tailored, data‑driven strategic guidance that improves members’ profitability and competitiveness.
- Manage the advisory service efficiently, ensuring continuous improvement and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain constructive, professional relationships with members, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
**Member Strategy Support**
- Conduct economic, financial, legal, and fiscal diagnostics for member farms.
- Identify improvement levers, propose strategic directions, and support investment or acquisition projects.
- Advise on plantation/repurchase of herds, financing, and negotiations.
- Lead member workshops, information sessions, and participatory working groups.
**Service Management & Leadership**
- Recruit, onboard, and develop advisory staff; set performance goals.
- Define service strategy, translate into actionable plans, and monitor KPIs.
- Implement dashboards, control costs, and recommend corrective actions.
- Update procedures, promote continuous improvement, and represent the service externally.
**Risk & Financial Collaboration**
- Monitor financial difficulties of members, analyse cases, and propose remedial actions.
- Participate in negotiation rounds, conciliations, and amicable settlement procedures.
- Manage abnormal receivables, align decisions with financial policy and internal protocols.
- Draft, review, and update financial agreements, aid schemes, and contractual tools.
Required Skills:
- Advanced diagnostic and analysis in economics, finance, law, and taxation.

- Proficiency in MS Office, financial modelling, and cooperative governance.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law, or related field.
- Master’s degree or professional certifications (MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are advantageous.
