Job Description
Job Title: Data Analyst Role Summary: Analyze and manage program data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and actionable insights for program and organizational decision‑making. Drive continuous improvement of data systems, reporting, and quality controls while supporting grant reporting and stakeholder communication. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality analytical outputs and excellent customer service. Demonstrate cross‑cultural competence, equity‑focused practice, and commitment to an anti‑racist work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Produce monthly program summaries and performance reports for senior leadership and funding agencies. - Monitor compliance with external databases, funding regulations, and internal policies. - Evaluate and enhance data collection, entry, and validation processes. - Develop and implement data management procedures, including data sharing rules and quality control checks. - Conduct trend analysis, filter and clean data, and create analytics to optimize data quality and program effectiveness. - Prioritize organizational data needs, recommend new processes, and update standards in response to regulatory changes. - Coordinate with Compliance on database training and internal/external audits. - Manage data platforms (e.g., Excel, statistical software, award tracking systems). - Support grant applications by providing evaluation data, outcome analysis, and impact metrics. - Communicate findings and updates clearly in meetings, reports, and written correspondence. - Build relationships with community providers, housing authorities, and public health partners to facilitate coordinated service delivery. Required Skills: - Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and statistical analysis tools. - Strong analytical, data validation, and reporting skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication, including briefing and documentation. - Crisis intervention and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Cross‑cultural awareness and commitment to equity, inclusion, and anti‑racism. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum: High school diploma or GED. - Preferred: Associate’s degree. - Relevant experience in data analysis, program evaluation, and data quality management; experience working with unhoused or complex‑needs populations.
