Job Description
**Job Title:** Water Works Project Manager **Role Summary:** Acts as the primary liaison between customers, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure successful execution of water‑works projects. Manages order processing, quoting, deliveries, job progress, and on‑site coordination while maintaining clear, detailed communication throughout the project lifecycle. **Expectations:** - Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to customer satisfaction. - Produce accurate quotes and bids based on technical drawings and specifications. - Maintain high‑quality documentation and communication with all stakeholders. - Prioritize multiple tasks effectively and meet established deadlines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Interpret civil and mechanical plans, drawings, and specifications to develop project estimates. - Prepare and present quotes/bids to contractors and prospective clients. - Coordinate order entry, product delivery, and inventory management for project needs. - Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with plans. - Communicate project status, changes, and requirements via verbal, written, and electronic channels. - Collaborate with owners, engineers, government agencies, and internal departments to resolve technical and logistical challenges. - Maintain accurate project records, logs, and reporting in the company’s CRM/ERP systems. **Required Skills:** - Strong ability to read and interpret civil/mechanical technical documents. - Proficient with standard office and industry software (e.g., MS Office, ERP/CRM systems). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Effective multitasking, prioritization, and deadline‑driven work style. - Positive, energetic team orientation with a customer‑focused mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent (GED). - Minimum five (5) years of experience in wholesale distribution sales or a related field, preferably involving water‑works, plumbing, or mechanical products. - No specific certifications required, but willingness to obtain industry‑relevant training is advantageous.
