Job Description
Job Title: Senior Front‑End Engineer – Calendar Platform Role Summary Lead the design, development, and architectural direction of a company‑wide calendar platform that powers time‑based features across HR, payroll, and scheduling products. Deliver scalable, performant, and accessible front‑end solutions, collaborate with designers and backend teams, and mentor peers to elevate front‑end quality across the organization. Expectations ● 5+ years of software engineering with a focus on front‑end development. ● Proven experience driving large‑scale front‑end initiatives or reusable libraries. ● Strong leadership in technical design, code reviews, and cross‑team collaboration. ● Passion for building reusable UI components and APIs that serve millions of users. ● Commitment to quality through testing, automation, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Architect and implement modular, scalable front‑end systems using React (or equivalent). • Define and enforce UI performance, accessibility, and code quality best practices. • Partner with UX/UI designers to deliver pixel‑perfect, intuitive user experiences. • Collaborate with backend and platform engineers to design efficient APIs and data flows. • Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. • Own high‑impact initiatives that enhance user engagement and platform extensibility. • Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve developer experience. Required Skills • Deep expertise in React.js (or Vue/Angular). • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS. • Experience building highly interactive, responsive, and performant UIs. • Strong understanding of REST, GraphQL, and modern API integration patterns. • Proficiency with unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library). • Familiarity with build tools, bundlers, and CI/CD pipelines. • Demonstrated knowledge of front‑end architecture principles and component‑driven design. • Excellent communication and collaborative skills. Required Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience accepted). • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on front‑end development.
