Job Title: VP of Marketing (Beauty Brand Incubator)
Role Summary:
Executive leader responsible for brand awareness, digital and social growth, and omnichannel activation across a portfolio of owned and private‑label beauty and personal‑care brands. Drives revenue through retail, e‑commerce, and DTC channels, oversees marketing strategy, performance measurement, and a small high‑performing marketing team.
Expectations:
- Deliver 10‑15+ years of progressive marketing experience in beauty or CPG, scaling brands in national retail and entrepreneurial environments.
- Own brand health, velocity, ROI, and retail sell‑through.
- Actively manage budgets, forecasts, dashboards, and data‑driven decision making.
- Maintain a hands‑on presence in campaign execution while setting strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute 360° marketing plans: shopper, in‑store, PR, social, influencer, experiential, and digital.
- Create retailer‑specific promotions and activation programs for key accounts (Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Ulta, Amazon, etc.).
- Translate consumer and retail insights into launch concepts, briefs, and marketing assets.
- Build, lead, and develop a small, high‑performing marketing team; define roles, KPIs, and processes.
- Grow social and digital footprint through content, creator partnerships, community management, and performance marketing.
- Plan and execute earned‑media strategies, press coverage, and thought‑leadership initiatives.
- Develop experiential programs: launches, pop‑ups, sampling, retailer activations that generate buzz and conversion.
- Partner with Creative, Digital, and Brand teams to maintain consistent voice, look, and feel across all touchpoints.
- Represent Marketing in leadership, customer, and retail meetings, presenting data‑driven insights.
Required Skills:
- Deep knowledge of consumer behavior, influencer ecosystems, and digital performance.
- Strong brand strategy, consumer insight, portfolio management, and 360° campaign development.
- Experience in multi‑brand portfolio or incubator settings, including private‑label execution.
- Familiarity with major U.S. retailers and channel‑specific marketing tactics.
- Budget management, forecasting, KPI tracking, and ROI analysis.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and communication.
- Ability to lead, coach, and scale a high‑impact marketing team in a fast‑moving environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
