Job title: Infrastructure Business Analyst Role Summary: Senior Business Analyst focused on IT infrastructure, orchestrating the translation of business needs into technical requirements, managing change through ITSM processes, and ensuring compliant, risk‑aware delivery of infrastructure initiatives. Expectations: - 8+ years of business analysis experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or service management. - Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies (servers, networks, cloud, storage, security) and ITIL/ITSM change management. - Proficiency in ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform, with experience in CAB participation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements for infrastructure projects. 2. Translate business needs into clear functional/non‑functional specifications. 3. Support project planning, tracking, scope management, and risk escalation. 4. Create, update, and manage ITSM requests and change records; enforce ITIL‑aligned change governance. 5. Participate in CAB meetings to present change proposals and approvals. 6. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking for stakeholders and leadership. 7. Coordinate pre‑ and post‑change communications and validations. 8. Serve as central liaison between infrastructure, service management, security, and business stakeholders. 9. Identify operational, technical, and business risks; ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. 10. Support audit and governance requirements through documentation and evidence collection. Required Skills: - Business and technical analysis, documentation, and requirement management. - In‑depth knowledge of infrastructure components (servers, networking, cloud, storage, security). - ITIL/ITSM change management processes. - Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM platform. - Analytical, reporting, and dashboard development (e.g., Power BI, SharePoint). - Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and identify risks proactively. Proven track record of managing complex data projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and delivering high‑quality, version‑controlled artifacts.
