Job Description
Facility Integrity Engineering, Co-Op Student (12-month term) Role Summary: 12-month co-op position supporting facility integrity engineering activities for pipeline and terminal assets. Candidates work alongside engineering experts to maintain infrastructure, manage technical documentation, and assist with inspections and asset management. Expectations: Open to post-secondary students in 2nd/3rd year of Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering programs enrolled in a co-op program. Start May 2026. Key Responsibilities: - Update/maintain databases for tracking tanks, piping, fire protection systems. - Assist in revising technical documents, procedures, standards to ensure regulatory compliance. - Analyze non-destructive evaluation (NDE) reports and extract data. - Support project management of inspections/maintenance work. - Track/report project costs, schedules. - Conduct project scoping including site visits. - Support valve/piping inspections. Required Skills: - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams). - Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. - Attention to detail; ability to handle deadlines under pressure. - Technical writing skills preferred. Required Education & Certifications: - Currently enrolled in 2nd/3rd year of Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering program. - Co-op program enrollment required. - Self-motivated with minimal supervision. - Familiarity with pipeline facilities or industrial assets is an asset. - Experience with PowerBI/VBA or CAD software preferred.
