Job Description

**Job Title:** Information Security Associate **Role Summary** Support daily security operations, monitoring, and compliance to strengthen the in-house Security Operations Center (SOC). Focus on threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response to safeguard organizational systems and data. **Expectations** - 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or IT operations. - Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or related field. **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor security alerts, analyze events, and escalate incidents as required. - Perform log analysis, threat monitoring, and alert triage in SOC operations. - Conduct vulnerability scans and follow up on remediation efforts. - Manage security tools (SIEM, EDR, IAM, email security). - Document security incidents and support incident response processes. - Administer user access controls and conduct privileged access reviews. - Maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation. - Promote cybersecurity awareness through training and phishing simulations. **Required Skills** - Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and tools. - Analytical problem-solving and attention to detail. - Ability to document processes and communicate findings clearly. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent. - Entry-level certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, CySA+) preferred but not required.
