Job Title: Web Developer/Engineer Senior Role Summary: Senior Web Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑performance client‑server web and mobile applications for mission‑critical Defense Business Systems. Works independently, interfaces with clients, and ensures cross‑platform compatibility with Apache, IIS, and database backends. Expectations: Deliver scalable web solutions using modern technologies, adhere to agile development practices, maintain 508 compliance, and provide clear technical documentation. Demonstrate strong customer‑facing skills and proactive problem solving. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and debug web/Mobile applications (Angular, ASP.NET Core, iOS, Xamarin). - Port legacy applications to web interfaces; integrate with Oracle/SQL Server databases and RESTful APIs. - Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; perform code reviews and quality assurance. - Create technical & user documentation, deployment guides, and release notes. - Provide end‑user training and knowledge transfer. - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend tools/performance improvements. Required Skills: - 10+ years of scripting/software development and web page design. - Expert in HTML, XML, PERL, Apache, IIS. - Advanced ASP.NET (C#, VB), SSRS, ASP.NET Core, Angular. - Experience with iOS, Xamarin mobile development. - Oracle and SQL Server database integration. - RESTful API development and secure data exchange. - Agile/iterative development methodology. - Section 508 accessibility compliance knowledge. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Certifications in .NET development, Angular, Oracle, or Microsoft Azure are a plus.
