**Job Title** Salesforce Software Engineer (Profiles Team) **Role Summary** Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines and profile services in Salesforce Data Cloud. Enable high‑quality identity resolution, golden records, and privacy‑safe activation across Marketing Cloud, Advertising, and Sales/Service channels. Drive data governance, CI/CD, and cross‑functional integration with analytics, ML, and downstream platforms. **Expectations** - Deliver scalable, reliable data pipelines and profile models. - Ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance and PII/PHI protection. - Translate business use cases into Data Cloud data structures, segments, and event‑driven activation. - Maintain operational excellence through automated quality checks, monitoring, and SLA reporting. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement Data Cloud pipelines (Data Streams, DMOs, Calculated Insights). - Build & optimize segments, activation flows, and privacy‑safe matching across Marketing Cloud, Advertising platforms, and CRM. - Define deterministic/probabilistic identity resolution rulesets and tune for precision/recall. - Enforce data governance, consent modeling, and compliance across ingestion, unification, and activation. - Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and CRM teams to translate business needs into Data Cloud data models and insights. - Set up CI/CD pipelines, automated data quality checks, monitoring, lineage, and SLA reporting. - Work with Lakehouse Federation/Zero‑Copy patterns on Amazon Redshift/Databricks for analytics and ML integration (Einstein Studio or external). - Liaise with DevOps and data ops to support reverse ETL, data warehouse integrations, and model operationalization. **Required Skills** - 5+ years data engineering/CRM/CDP experience; 2+ years Salesforce Data Cloud (or equivalent CDP). - Strong SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, streaming (Kafka/Kinesis), APIs, Git‑based CI/CD. - Hands‑on with Data Cloud entities: DMOs, Data Graphs, Calculated Insights, Segments, Activation. - Proven activation across Marketing Cloud, Advertising, and Sales/Service. - Identity resolution (deterministic & probabilistic) expertise; tuning for precision/recall. - Data governance, privacy/consent (GDPR/CCPA) and protection of PII/PHI knowledge. - Familiarity with Python/dbt, MDM tools, Reverse ETL, Amazon Redshift, Einstein Studio, and model operationalization (Copado). - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform App Builder, Data Architecture & Management Designer) preferred.
