Job Description
**Job Title** Security Engineer **Role Summary** Lead security engineering initiatives focused on vulnerability management, cloud security, and DevSecOps. Secure and automate CI/CD pipelines, protect AWS and containerized environments, integrate application security testing, and manage incident response. Mentor peers and promote a security-aware culture within cross‑functional teams. **Expactations** - 3+ years in security engineering, cloud security, or DevSecOps roles. - Strong proficiency in AWS; experience with Azure or GCP is a plus. - Experience securing IaC (Pulumi, Helm, Python) and containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiar with SIEM, EDR/XDR, WAFs, and OWASP Top 10. - U.S. based or eligible to work in the U.S. **Key Responsibilities** - Own vulnerability management and compliance activities (SOC 2, ISO, NIST). - Secure and automate CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code processes. - Protect AWS cloud resources and containerized environments. - Monitor systems, detect threats, and lead incident resolution. - Collaborate with developers to embed AppSec (SAST/DAST, dependency scanning) into workflows. - Mentor peers and foster a culture of security awareness. **Required Skills** - Cloud security architecture for AWS (IaC, container security). - CI/CD pipeline automation and security tooling. - Threat monitoring and incident response. - Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Security certifications are a plus: CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent. - Experience with tools such as Wiz, NopSec, Kubernetes security is a bonus.
