Job Description
Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer – South East Region Role Summary: Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth by presenting and implementing industrial measurement solutions. Manage end‑to‑end sales cycle, from requirement analysis and technical demonstrations to contract negotiation and post‑sales support, while building long‑term client relationships. Expectations: - Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets within the assigned region. - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention. - Provide expert technical guidance to clients and internal teams. - Collaborate with product, engineering and support functions to deliver tailored solutions. - Travel within the region as required to meet clients and attend industry events. Key Responsibilities: 1. Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities. 2. Conduct detailed needs assessments and present technical solutions that meet client specifications. 3. Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals. 4. Negotiate contract terms, pricing and service level agreements. 5. Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting during implementation and after delivery. 6. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, activity logs and CRM records. 7. Coordinate with engineering and support teams to ensure successful deployment. 8. Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings. Required Skills: - Strong technical sales acumen in industrial measurement instruments. - Deep understanding of measurement systems, calibration, and maintenance processes. - Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences. - Proven negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. - Self‑directed, proactive, and able to travel as needed. - Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and general digital tools. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - Minimum 3–5 years of technical sales experience in the industrial measurement or related field. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region. ---
