Job Description
Job Title: Data Analyst Role Summary: Provide timely management information reporting and systems support to the Data & Analytics Manager; design and develop scalable analytical solutions; deliver business insights to operational and client teams; identify opportunities for performance and cost improvement. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality analytical outputs with accuracy and on schedule. Proactively resolve issues, support end‑user needs, and provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders. Manage competing priorities through effective organization and planning. Key Responsibilities: * Generate and analyze data sets; create trend analyses and actionable insights. * Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Smartsheet. * Support analytics application configuration—workflow, templates, reports, and controls. * Troubleshoot issues in Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet and other analysis tools. * Respond to internal and client queries, ensuring high customer satisfaction. * Assist with specialist projects to improve data collation, visualization, and reporting efficiency. * Transfer knowledge to business areas to aid decision‑making and performance improvement. * Present findings clearly to teams and clients; teach use of technology solutions. Required Skills: * Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, statistical functions, DAX). * Power BI and Smartsheet dashboard design and maintenance. * SQL proficiency; Python or Tableau experience a plus. * Strong data mining, reporting, and visualization capabilities. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Analytical mindset with rigorous attention to detail. * Time management, prioritization, and problem‑solving abilities. * Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment. Required Education & Certifications: * Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship or equivalent data analytics qualification, or a relevant bachelor’s degree. ---
