Job Title: AWS Security Engineer (M/F)
Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain secure AWS environments for enterprise clients, applying best practices in identity, key management, encryption, monitoring, and compliance. Lead security architecture decisions, conduct assessments, and embed security into DevOps pipelines using a DevSecOps approach.
Expectations: • Minimum 3 years of cloud security experience, preferably on AWS. • Strong command of AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, WAF, etc.). • Understanding of security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR). • AWS Certified Security – Specialty or equivalent highly desirable. • Curiosity, proactive problem‑solving, and strong teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities: • Architect and implement secure AWS solutions, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. • Define and enforce security policies covering IAM, key management, encryption, and monitoring. • Deploy and manage cloud security tools (WAF, SIEM, EDR, CSPM, etc.). • Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses of AWS workloads. • Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps teams in a DevSecOps context. • Keep abreast of emerging cloud security threats and share knowledge within the professional community.
Required Skills: • AWS security services: IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, WAF, etc. • Security tooling: SIEM, EDR, CSPM, WAF, encryption solutions. • Cloud security frameworks and compliance: ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, GDPR. • DevOps and CI/CD tooling with security integration (e.g., CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). • Security assessment techniques, risk analysis, and remediation planning. • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. • AWS Certified Security – Specialty or an equivalent cloud security certification.
