Job Title: Senior IT Auditor
Job Description: **Job Title:** Senior IT Auditor **Role Summary:** Lead and execute risk‑based audits of IT systems, applications, and business processes in a highly regulated environment. Focus on agile project reviews, data analytics, data governance, and API security while providing independent assurance on governance, risk management, and internal controls. **Expactations:** - Deliver high‑quality audit workpapers and reports with actionable recommendations. - Communicate audit findings effectively to IT, business stakeholders, and audit leadership. - Support SOC 1 Type II, external audits, regulatory reviews, and annual risk assessments. - Maintain compliance with IIA standards and relevant IT control frameworks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead IT and business audits covering infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data governance. - Assess agile practices (sprint planning, backlog management, DevOps, project governance). - Develop and apply data‑analytics and automation techniques to increase audit efficiency. - Prepare clear audit documentation and concise reports; present results to stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to Audit Committee materials. **Required Skills:** - Knowledge of IIA Standards and IT control frameworks (NIST, CIS). - Familiarity with agile methodologies and API security controls. - Proficiency in data‑analytics tools and audit automation; advanced Excel (MS Access preferred). - Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit engagements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 3–6 years of experience in public accounting, internal audit, or industry audit roles. - Authorization to work in the United States. - Preferred certifications: CISA, CIA, CISSP, CEH, CPA. - Preferred experience: capital markets or other highly regulated sectors; Power BI and Power Automate.
