Job Description
Job title: Document Controller Role Summary: Manage and control document workflows for design and manufacturing teams using BIM and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, correct numbering, naming, filing, and formatting of all architectural and engineering documents. Develop and maintain processes, dashboards, and reports to support senior management and project stakeholders. Expectations: - Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ACC and ProjectWise. - Full UK driving licence. - Strong written and verbal communication, disciplined deadline management, and high attention to detail. - Understanding of BIM processes is advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Control and update ACC/ProjectWise project documentation, including BIM models and design drawings. - Apply numbering, naming conventions, filing structures, and formatting standards. - Review and improve document control procedures, ensuring they meet company and client requirements. - Confirm site and office documentation conforms to project and regulatory standards. - Develop PowerBi dashboards to monitor compliance and report non‑compliance on ACC projects. - Produce regular document progress reports for senior managers. - Create and maintain BIM Execution Plans. - Address staff queries, resolve document issues, and provide guidance on documentation practices. - Liaise with design teams to ensure timely issue of technical documents and drawings. Required Skills: - Proficient in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and ProjectWise. - Knowledge of BIM methodologies and processes. - Strong organisational and documentation management skills. - Ability to produce accurate reports and maintain dashboards. - Excellent problem‑solving and stakeholder communication. - Deadline‑oriented with a focus on quality output. Required Education & Certifications: - Relevant technical or engineering qualification (e.g., BEng, MEng, or equivalent). - Certifications related to BIM management or document control (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, ACC Cert Admin preferred).
