Job Description: **Job Title**: QA Ingredients and Product Manager **Role Summary**: Oversees quality assurance for raw materials and finished products, manages supplier relationships, leads food safety teams, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards across production operations. **Expectations**: - Minimum 3+ years in supplier auditing and food industry leadership within Food Safety, Quality, or Hygiene (FSQ) contexts. - Proven expertise in HACCP, risk assessment, and specification writing. - Experience managing multi-shift teams and leading third-party audits. - Working knowledge of BRC, major retailer standards, and allergen management. **Key Responsibilities**: - Manage raw material and product quality, safety, and compliance. - Conduct/updates risk assessments for allergens, microbiological/chemical risks, and product vulnerability. - Onboard suppliers by evaluating manufacturing controls and maintaining documentation. - Lead HACCP, Food Defence teams, and drive safety process improvements. - Collaborate with New Product Development (NPD) to approve ingredient specifications. - Supervise customer complaint investigations, audit trends, and reporting. - Coordinate internal audits (system, GMP, GWP) and sampling/laboratory operations. **Required Skills**: - HACCP Level 3 certification (Level 4 preferred). - Food Safety Level 3 certification (Level 4 preferred). - Proficiency in Food Defence and internal auditing. - Expertise in allergen control and risk management. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Recognized food safety certifications (e.g., HACCP, Food Safety Levels 3–4). - Formal training in quality management systems (BRC, GMP). - Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or related field (strongly preferred).
