Job Description

**Job title:** Software Engineering Intern (Forward Deployed) **Role Summary:** Internship focused on delivering technical solutions directly to customers. Rapid prototyping, building demonstrable tools, integrating systems, and turning prototypes into repeatable reference implementations. Works closely with revenue and product teams to help close deals and shape product direction. **Expectations:** - Bring strong coding capability and drive to ship products quickly. - Engage with real customer problems and deliver solutions that influence sales and product roadmap. - Communicate progress, write documentation and playbooks, and share feedback with cross‑functional teams. - Exhibit a learning mindset and growth in technical fundamentals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and prototype POCs for prospects. - Build demo tooling and reusable templates to accelerate sales cycles. - Implement turnkey integrations (APIs, pipelines, dashboards) for customers and hand over to Customer Success. - Connect Crustdata platform to customer systems and third‑party services. - Convert prototypes into reusable reference implementations within the product. - Develop AI agents to support internal sales and customer success workflows. - Document APIs, integration flows, and operational playbooks. - Participate in workshops and periodic on‑site sessions as needed. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript. - Hands‑on experience building end‑to‑end software (projects, OSS, hackathons, research, prior internships). - Strong programming fundamentals and rapid learning ability. - Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. - Bonus: SQL, data warehousing/ETL knowledge, API and integration experience. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Undergraduate (or equivalent) student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related technical field. - No formal certification required; demonstrable coding experience preferred.
