Job Description
**Job Title:** Software Engineering Manager, Growth **Role Summary:** Lead and scale a high‑impact engineering team that builds AI‑native growth platforms, encompassing acquisition, onboarding, and expansion workflows. Drive the design and implementation of intelligent, data‑driven systems that personalize user experiences, predict intent, and continuously optimize revenue‑generating funnels. **Expectations:** - Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture and provide regular coaching (1:1s, mentorship). - Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and Revenue teams to translate ambiguous business problems into engineering solutions. - Champion AI‑native patterns, experimentation, and observability across growth systems. - Ensure delivery of reliable, scalable, and learning‑oriented services that meet revenue‑growth targets. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Build and manage a high‑performing software development team (hiring, performance, career growth). 2. Define, iterate, and execute on the Growth roadmap in collaboration with product and design. 3. Integrate ML/AI models for lead scoring, personalization, upsell recommendations, and AI‑driven communications. 4. Establish best practices for experimentation, A/B testing, feedback loops, and model safety in customer‑facing contexts. 5. Oversee the architecture and reliability of multi‑step workflows such as onboarding funnels, checkout flows, and cross‑sell systems. 6. Drive metrics‑focused development, measuring impact on acquisition, activation, conversion, and ACV expansion. 7. Align engineering processes with cross‑functional priorities and maintain clear documentation and observability. **Required Skills:** - 8+ years professional software development, preferably B2B SaaS or growth engineering. - 2+ years experience leading product or growth engineering teams. - Proven track record building/maintaining complex multi‑step workflows (onboarding, checkout, upsell). - Strong leadership, people management, and mentorship abilities. - Data‑driven, experiment‑focused development mindset; ability to translate metrics into impact. - Excellent cross‑functional collaboration with product, design, data, sales, support, and marketing. - Familiarity with AI/ML integration, model deployment, and safe usage in production. - Experience scaling engineering organizations and establishing engineering processes. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). - No specific certifications required; demonstrated expertise and leadership experience are essential.
