**Job Title:** Software Engineer, Embedded Systems
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain firmware and software for distributed wireless mesh sensor nodes, integrating RF modules, cameras, and multi‑modal sensors across embedded Linux, RTOS, and bare‑metal platforms. Lead board bring‑up, driver development, and OTA update infrastructure while collaborating with hardware, product, and backend teams.

- Deliver high‑performance, reliable embedded solutions on schedule.
- Ensure power‑efficient, secure, and fault‑tolerant firmware.
- Drive rapid prototyping from concept to production.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Write and maintain firmware for edge devices (C/C++/Rust).
- Develop kernel and peripheral drivers; integrate sensors, cameras, and RF modules.
- Perform board bring‑up, hardware/software debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD.
- Build and sustain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and OTA update mechanisms.
- Optimize system performance (power, memory, reliability) in field deployments.
- Contribute to bootloader, secure boot, and modular driver framework development.
- Collaborate with EE, RF, mechanical, product, and backend teams on interface design and hardware support.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in C, C++, or Rust for embedded targets.
- Experience with Embedded Linux (SoCs), RTOS, and bare‑metal microcontroller programming.
- Kernel driver development and low‑level peripheral driver expertise.
- Strong knowledge of SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, RS‑485, Ethernet (including 10BASE‑T1S), 802.11, MIPI CSI‑2, SDIO, PCIe.
- Hands‑on hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, JTAG/SWD.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- No specific certifications required; demonstrated experience in embedded systems is essential.
