Job Description
**Job title:** HR Crew Consultant **Role Summary:** Provide comprehensive HR support for crew members within the relevant discipline department in an offshore construction environment. Serve as the primary HR contact, managing all administrative and developmental processes, collaborating with planners, assistants, recruiters, and discipline specialists to ensure smooth personnel operations. **Expactations:** - Hands‑on, results‑oriented approach in a fast‑paced setting. - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. - Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable HR role (crew or general workforce). - Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Strong communication skills in English; Dutch an advantage. - Knowledge of marine/offshore HR practices (preferred, not mandatory). - Seafaring experience is a plus. **Key Responsibilities:** - Handle all HR functions for crew members in the designated discipline department. - Maintain crew information accurately within the Crew Management System. - Participate actively in projects that enhance departmental processes and ways of working. - Oversee and monitor career plans, development steps, and succession planning for current crew. - Manage absence, sickness, and reintegration processes. - Analyze future crew needs and advise on staffing targets. - Update and maintain handbook, standard operating procedures, and procedural checklists. - Collaborate with recruiters to support external candidate sourcing. - Evaluate and assess candidates in partnership with the discipline department. **Required Skills:** - Excellent multitasking and prioritization in a dynamic environment. - Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Effective written and verbal communication in English; Dutch valuable. - Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s (or HBO) degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Minimum of 3 years in HR or related personnel management role. ---
