Job Title: Artificial Intelligence Engineer
Role Summary: Design and build end‑to‑end web applications that integrate AI/ML models, delivering scalable, user‑centric prototypes and production‑ready services. Work across the stack—from responsive front‑end interfaces to robust back‑end APIs—while applying DevOps practices and cloud architecture to enable rapid iteration and reliable deployment.
Expactations:
- 1+ year of full‑stack web development experience.
- Proven ability in AI/ML integration and responsible AI principles.
- Strong collaboration in Agile environments and full life‑cycle development.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prototype end‑to‑end AI solutions; iterate based on user feedback and business goals.
- Develop responsive UIs (React, Vue, or equivalent) that expose AI model outputs intuitively.
- Build scalable back‑end services and RESTful APIs (Python, Node.js, Java) to support AI features.
- Design data models, query SQL/NoSQL databases, and manage data pipelines.
- Apply CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP) for automated testing and deployment.
- Write and maintain product user stories, estimate effort, and track progress in JIRA.
- Participate actively in sprint ceremonies and pair‑programming sessions.
- Champion best practices: code reviews, unit/integration tests, documentation, and security hardening.
- Offer technical guidance on product prioritization and architecture decisions.
Required Skills:
- JavaScript front‑end frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Server‑side language proficiency (Python, Node.js, or Java).
- RESTful API design and development.
- SQL and NoSQL database experience.
- CI/CD tooling and Docker containerization.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Git, branching strategies, and collaborative workflows.
- Familiarity with AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model deployment.
- Understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI guidelines.
- Agile/Scrum methodology and JIRA usage.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Completed online AI/ML courses or certificates (Coursera, fast.ai, Udacity, etc.).
- Contributions to open‑source or personal AI projects, hackathon participation, or relevant side projects.
